A student asked his teacher, ‘what is love?’

The teacher said, ‘in order to answer your question, go to the poultry farm, choose the biggest cockerel and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick.’ the student went to the field went through the first row, he saw one big cockerel but he wondered…maybe there is a bigger one.

Then he saw a bigger one and wonders yet again,…maybe there is even a bigger one waiting for him. Later, when he finished more than half of the poultry farm, he started to realize that the cockerel is not as big as d previous one he saw; he knew he had missed the biggest one, and he felt bad. So, he ended up going back to the teacher empty handed.
The teacher told him, ‘this is love. You keep looking for a better one, but when you realize later, you have already missed the person who should have been, you find it hard or impossible to turn back the hands of time.’

The student then asks, ‘in that case, what is marriage?’ the teacher said, ‘in order to answer your question, go to the corn field, choose the biggest corn and come back.’ but the rule remains: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick.’
The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reached the middle of the field, he picked one big corn in the middle that he felt satisfied with and went back. The teacher told him, ‘this time you brought a corn. You looked for one that is just nice. You had faith and believe this is the best one you can get…this is marriage.’
